How it works and what it removes
This tool removes the standard EXIF GPS Info IFD from JPEG/JPG files. It does not re-encode the image pixels. It does not claim to remove unrelated place names or every possible location reference stored in non-EXIF metadata such as custom XMP or IPTC fields.
